  • Email two-factor authentication introduces more security into our login process. The process includes a simple 2FA with one-time passwords (OTP) being sent to the user's email
  • The version provides a calendar-like schedule with the ability to create multiple replication schedules
  • Renewed initial configuration with extended additional parameters available for a cloud
  • More flexible SMTP settings, allowing "FROM" address independently from the login information
  • Automatic machine status report is added. It is a periodic job that collects information about protected/parked machines, related warning/error events and sends a report once a day

  • vCloud support

    This release features vCloud support for VMware, enabling machines to be registered in vCloud Director during the failover process and to be assigned with vCloud networks and specific storage policies.

  • List of available networks in the cloud

    While creating a Migration / DR Plan in the Basic mode, the user can now choose from a list of networks that is obtained automatically from the target cloud (VMware, OpenStack, Flexible Engine, AWS, Azure).

Version 3.2#

  • Failover Image Download

    Added the ability to download images in the .raw format from active Cloud Sites. Users can now download images and spin up VMs based on them.

  • Replication Statistics

    Users can now see replication statistics in the UI: speed of the replication and the percentage of completion.

  • Cutover Report

    Users can get a Cutover Report in the UI along with the ability to download it in the .csv format.

    Reports show information about detached Cloud Sites with the according details (cloud resources, detach time, etc).

  • Dynamic Disks Support

    Support of spanned, striped, mirrored, and RAID-5 volumes.

    Limitation: dynamic disks are converted into simple volumes (only for Internal Windows Agent).

  • Cloud Agent's Auto-update

    If Acura is updated, Cloud Agents update themselves automatically. The operation had to be performed manually by Hystax Engineering team before.

  • Quotas Checks

    A cloud quotas checks is now performed before any action which requires additional cloud resources: ports, volumes, floating IPs, instances, snapshots, etc. There is a different list of quotas checks for each cloud platform.

    This feature gives opportunity to fail the action before encountering an actual error and inform the user accordingly.

  • Initconfig UX Improvements

    Improvements in error messages during initial configuration: the user will get a more detailed message that can help resolve the issue without the need to contact the Support Team, and pass the initial configuration of Acura.

  • Azure Support Improvements

    Increased stability and performance of Acura components in case of Azure Cloud.
