Hystax OptScale supports automated live migration from any source platform: VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud, KVM, Bare Metal to any target platform: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, VMware, OpenStack, etc.

We replicate data from any source to the target environment by taking first full replicas, then incrementals. There is no need to stop the production site while performing the test migrations, the initial and the following incremental replication and the production site would not experience any significant performance change, you normally wouldn’t even notice that the workloads are replicated. Only in case of the final cutover, we need to have a maintenance window that is totally manageable and you can schedule it in the migration plan at any time that best suits your business objectives.

Hystax OptScale provides a fully-automated solution which is extremely relevant for migration of dozens, hundreds and thousands of machines. Hystax OptScale supports full orchestration with both parallel and sequential launch to avoid unstable or inconsistent states. Hystax OptScale can control the process of migration from the stage of replication and storing data to orchestrated launch of the workloads on the target site. Hystax OptScale allows an unlimited number of test migrations and also the failovers. We don’t limit the number of test migrations before the final cutover and the evaluability zones for migration, you can do the replication within the same availability zone or between different, and even within the same data center.

Hystax OptScale works in an isolated environment and ensures 100% data integrity for all applications. The solution performs replication in the background with no downtime while replication and unlimited test migrations are in progress. Snapshots are created and stored using cloud-native storage API, no intermediate storage is used. Hystax OptScale is an operational system agnostic, fully-automated, secure, fast, simple to be deployed and maintained.
