QA Engineer

QA Engineer job brief:

In the role of QA engineer at Hystax, you will be responsible for reviewing and revising manual and automated testing procedures and plans. A team of developers, engineers, and QA testers will be under your supervision, and you will ensure compliance with company policies and standard procedures. This job position requires leading the team’s QA initiatives and efforts to optimize quality control processes, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction, as one of the main results of the Hystax activity.

Responsibilities:

▪️ Design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality

▪️ Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements

▪️ Report and track bugs in a bug-tracking system

▪️ Participate in code and design reviews to identify potential quality issues

▪️ Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

Qualifications:

▪️ 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance

▪️ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

▪️ Scripting skills (Python, Bash)

Preferred skills:

▪️ Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud)

▪️ Knowledge of SQL and databases
