We’re pleased to unveil the Hystax Acura 4.3 release, which includes new features and enhancements that improve disaster recovery, backup, and cloud migration workflows. This update focuses on performance, scalability, and user experience, helping IT teams manage complex infrastructures with greater ease and visibility.
The update introduces synthetic full restore points to optimize backup storage and restore performance. A new snapshot consolidation progress display provides real-time visibility during replication and backup processes, helping administrators monitor system activity more effectively.
The release adds LDAP-based login support (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), enabling integration with enterprise authentication systems. The platform now also supports anonymous SMTP email sending, offering flexibility in alert and notification configuration.
Acura 4.3 introduces performance enhancements to improve scalability for environments with a large number of virtual machines. For VMware-based infrastructures, new options allow filtering discovered machines by tags or prefixes and enable parallel disk uploads, significantly reducing replication times.
The release extends support for newer Linux distributions, including SUSE, RHEL, and CentOS, improves the user interface, and includes essential security updates to enhance platform stability and resilience.
